Jane began her career with an international accounting firm and specialized in tax planning for entrepreneurial businesses. Jane joined the firm in 1990, and has worked toward building the client base and extending the services we offer. Jane enjoys working in the Durham Region where she was raised and continues to welcome the challenges presented by our dynamic and diverse business community.

Cristina S. Shortt

Cristina was a client services partner and tax specialist with a large international accounting firm prior to joining the firm in 1997. Cristina specializes in owner-managed businesses. In addition to accounting and auditing services, Cristina advises clients on personal and corporate taxation, estate planning and reorganizations.

Andrew Tully

Andrew graduated from The University of Waterloo with a Bachelor of Mathematics in 2000 and qualified as a Chartered Accountant in 2002. He has also completed the CICA In-Depth Tax Course. Throughout his career, Andrew has worked closely with small business owners to meet their personal and corporate accounting and tax needs.

Paula Van Kessel, CA

Paula joined our team in January 2009 and obtained her CA designation in 2006. Paula was a senior auditor with an international accounting firm before joining our firm and she is a graduate of Brock University's co-op accounting program. Paula assists clients with their auditing, accounting and income tax needs.  Paula is currently on maternity leave until October 2011.

Ryan Cavanagh, CA

Ryan returned to the firm in November 2008 after working as an auditor with an international accounting firm. Ryan is a graduate of The University of Waterloo Masters program. He assists clients with their auditing, accounting and income tax needs.

Jackie Lesser, CGA

Jackie received her CGA designation in 2004. She prepares both corporate and personal tax returns and assists clients with bookkeeping, payroll and meeting reporting deadlines as well as with their accounting needs. Jackie joined our team in 1999.

Joanne Addison, CGA, CFP

Joanne received her Certified General Accountant designation in 1982 and her Certified Financial Planner designation in 2010. She is experienced in many financial areas including personal and corporate tax returns, cash flow projections, reporting and bookkeeping. Joanne assists clients with their accounting needs.  Joanne joined our team in 2003.

Cheryl is an Honours Bachelor of Commerce graduate from the University Of Ontario Institute of Technology (UOIT).  She is currently working towards obtaining her CA designation.  She assists clients with accounting and prepares both personal and corporate tax returns.  She joined our team November 2010.

Peter is currently working towards his degree in Accounting and Financial Management from the University of Waterloo.  He assists clients with accounting, bookkeeping, file preparation for financial statements and personal and corporate tax returns.  He joined our team in January 2009.

Mikael is currently working towards his degree in Honours Bachelor of Accounting, Co-op Option at Brock University.  He assists with file preparation and personal and corporate tax returns.  He joined our team in January 2011.

Collyne has had many years of experience bookkeeping and dealing with payroll, GST, PST and WSIB matters. Collyne assists our clients with their bookkeeping requirements. Collyne joined our team in 2007.
